Steam Wins 2008 GLSCL Championship
Xenia, OH : The Cincinnati Steam accomplished the mission that they were told couldn’t be done. An organization built primarily of hometown local talent defeated the defending 2007 tournament champion Columbus All Americans to win the league’s post season championship as well as holding claim to the regular season title, a feat that has not been matched in quite a number a years according to GLSCL Commissioner Dr. Kim Lance. Oak Hills - Princeton Game Action Highlights
Green Twp. Friday September 19, 2008:
The Highlander's made a great home field effort going head-to-head with the powerhouse Princeton Vikings, and their talented QB Spencer Ware (#11).
Loosing by six points my have been prevented if OH had not been missing a number of key players, who were sidelined with injuries.
