Why the name....

We're often asked why we choose
"LifeOnTheWestside" as the title for
our Internet Magazine.

There are two answers:
1). We are "West-siders" and that’s where our backyards are located, and where we first took the time to smell the roses.
And.…
2). Greater Cincinnati is West of New York City, where most of the major media thinks that every place west of the Hudson River is still "Indian Territory" and we want to show that It's NOT!

We hope you enjoy your visit.
Your LifeOnTheWestside Photographers,
Ken Stewart, Terry Armor, Dick Swaim
and Charlie Fry III.

** A footnote on Photojournalism:
Photojournalism is a particular form of journalism in that a photographer creates candid photographic images in order to tell a news story. It is distinguished from other types of photography by the qualities of timeliness and objectivity, and subjects are not posed for the camera. Recorded as the event happens the photographers images should have meaning, and depict a chronological record of events in a fair, objective and accurate representation of the events, to inform and give insight to the viewer or reader.
